All-new from the ground up, the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8's styling is all function.

Adaptive cruise control is an option on the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8. Note the sensor in the grille.

Dual 3-inch exhaust outlets have been moved to the outside. First-generation Grand Cherokee SRT8s utilized a center-exit exhaust.

There's a Class-1 receiver under the center cover in the bumper. The new SRT8 has a 5,000-pound tow rating.

LED lighting is standard on the Grand Cherokee SRT8.

Functional hood vents? Standard.

Like we said...functional hood vents.

Unique materials — even carbon fiber — highlight the Grand Cherokee SRT8's interior.

Those seats are heated and ventilated. And covered in suede and leather.

Oh, and there's this embroidered SRT logo.

All SRT products get the same thick-rimmed, leather-wrapped wheel.

It's good for 160 mph. No more.

The Selec-Track knob allows the driver to choose among five modes.

The 6.4-liter (392-cubic-inch) V8 is rated at 470 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque.

The Jeep's 20-inch wheels are forged. But in combination with the tire still weigh 90 pounds.
